FLEXIVEIL
Flexiveil
is the most advanced veil in the market. It was specifically designed to handle
the demands of complex curves. The ability to bend and drape in more than
one direction makes Flexiveil unique. It handles compound curves in pre-form,
press, vacuum, and injection molds, plus other resin-transfer systems. As
with all our products, this continuous strand veil is made of corrosion-resistant
A-glass, and has excellent wet-out abilities for your Class “A”
surfacing needs.
Available binders include: polyester, special polyester blend for pre-forming, epoxy-compatible, and phenolic.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Non-woven, continuous strand, glass fiber surfacing veil for use in moderately to highly curved composite mold applications where improved or Class-A surface is required. Highly corrosiveresistant, boron-free "A" glass strands are used. Binder at 7 to 16% by weight with Silane glass additive for improved polymer/glass bond.
PRODUCT APPEARANCE: Trimmed rolls on 3" cores. Highly uniform, continuous strand veil. Substantially free of tears, holes, foreign material.
PRODUCT SLITTING: Slit to customer specifications in 6" to 120" widths (+/- 1") or 0.15m to 3.05m (+/- 2.5cm). Cut sheets available in 6-36" by 12-48".
