PEARLVEIL
This
exceptional fiberglass veil excels in flat or slightly curved composites such
as panels, trays, and other molded parts. PEARLVEIL is our most economical
veil, suitable for pre-form molding, press molding, vacuum molding, injection
molding and other resin-transfer systems, as well as dry winding applications.
Available binders include: polyester, special polyester blend for pre-forming, epoxy-compatible, and phenolic.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Non-woven, continuous strand, glass fiber surfacing veil for use in flat or slightly to moderately curved composite mold applications where improved or Class-A surface is required. Highly corrosive-resistant, boron-free "A" glass strands are used. Binder at 7 to 16% by weight with Silane glass additive for improved polymer/glass bond.
PRODUCT APPEARANCE: Trimmed rolls on 3" cores. Highly uniform, continuous strand veil. Substantially free of tears, holes, foreign material.
PRODUCT SLITTING: Slit to customer specifications in 6" to 120" widths (+/- 1") or 0.15m to 3.05m (+/- 2.5cm). Cut sheets available in 6-36" by 12-48".
